Last year I made a decision that I was going to lead by example. It didn't seem so surprising to me that kids are always on the internet and watching TV. What do their parents do? So I made an effort to do more activities myself and maybe the kids will follow....Tough Mudder...awesome for me but the kids weren't into the cold weather their mother had to run and swim in. But then I starting playing flag football. Finally! And now both boys are obsessed with the game. Brian of course loves it as well and as an added bonus Colin and Connor now get to stay up late and watch Monday Night Football with us. Farewell to bedtime!
